io manifèsto is a project that lays on the different meanings of the verb manifestare, referring both to one who clearly reveals what is hidden in his soul and, at the same time, to one who participates in a public demonstration. yet, the reflexive form of the verb manifestarsi, means that one is keen to let the others know himself, he unveals his character, his natural dispositions and thoughts. Io manifèsto is therefore a manifesto of the self which, like film, is exposed to light and, like film, reveals itself to show a hidden image of the self.
